Last week I had the pleasure of working with one of the cutest little girls on the planet (and her mom). She was so precious and reminded me of Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street with her big smile and pigtails. I am immensely grateful to be given the opportunity to be able to capture these beautiful moments. Moms are usually the ones stuck behind the scenes, behind the camera. I was beyond happy to put her in the frame for once.

It’s pouring outside so I figured now would be a good time to look over the pictures I’ve taken over the last few weeks. My father in law came down and took us on a fishing charter, my first ever. On our way out we passed this sailboat coming in and it was just perfect. I snapped probably 50 pictures of it, entranced. The way it’s silhouette sits against the Florida sunrise takes my breath away. Living so far from everyone is hard, but it’s getting to share moments like this I’m thankful for.

I have always had a love of photography. In high school I took a basic photography class with a 35mm film camera. I learned how to use manual settings, process my own film, and develop my pictures in a dark room. Things have sure changed alot since then, but my love for capturing moments has never changed. I'm always looking for my next shot, the perfect lighting, a great new angle.
